Yeah, so I couldn't think of a funky title for this one. Now onto what I thought of the book, Pick Me.
Pick Me, was hot! The tags on it are Romance, Erotica, and Romantic Comedy. It also tags it as Contemporary Romance, but I don't know how you can have a romance that erotica can be a contemporary romance when contemporary is a romance that doesn't go into the descriptions of sex as erotica does. I guess whatever this author, Kristine Mason, and anyone else who tags it wants it to be.
So we start out with Val, she is the former assistant producer on Pick Me, who is now the contestant aka the bachelorette, and thought to be a school teacher. The bachelors on there are Trent, the rocker dentist, Brad, the personal trainer, and Colt, farm boy, a sports agent who is also a lawyer. Val has to date all three guys, but in the beginning, she gets to pick the one she would like to start out with. That would be bachelor number one, Colt.
Unbeknownst to her, Colt is also the same guy she had a one-night stand with six months earlier. She walked out of his life that and he had been trying to find her ever since. Now that he has found her, he doesn't want to lose her again.
Will they be able to get through the show without anyone finding out they know each other from before the show? What will Colt say when he finds out she isn't really a school teacher just in this for the money?
Find out when you read Pick Me (Reality T.V. Romance) (Reality TV Romance Book 1), by Kristine Mason.
My opinion of the book? Oh yeah, that's what we're here for. LOL! So yeah, I loved it. I know it took me a while to get through it, but in my defense, I do work a part-time job and I have two kids I run after. Also, I'm in the middle of transitioning into a new place in my personal life. That's why it took me so long to get through the book. This is definitely a book I would recommend to someone looking for something that isn't too raunchy of a read, but has some good scenes in it that make you drool. It even has a little bit of laughter to add to it.
So if you're looking for something to make you drool but make you laugh, then this is the book for you.
***Note*** I found this book via a free book site for kindle. At the moment of writing this review the book is still free, but normally priced at $2.99 for digital and $2.65 for paper back.
**I also post this review and others I write on the platform which I bought the book and anywhere else I find it listed, as well as goodreads.com, where I'm a member of as an author for my own books.**

March 8, 2016: What's up next.
Next up for reading after Devlin Unleashed is Pick me by Kristine Mason.
Looks like Pick Me is a contemporary romantic comedy. I'm not usually big on contemporary romance because it's not all into the scenes that make a book more erotic than the norm of romance books.
Just so you know this book was one I downloaded for free that I only found because through one of the sites I follow with free and discount books.
Now, I'm not one to promote only going for free books from indie authors, as an author myself, I wouldn't recommend an author putting the books up for free download. Then again I might not have found some awesome authors had they not and I might not have over 3000 books sitting on my kindle right now.
So for now, feel free to check out my reviews. I have plenty on Amazon for other books from before I started this blog. Maybe I will go back and put some of those reviews on here in other blogs of old blogs. Of course, I also leave my reviews on Goodreads.
A reminder, I'm all about reviews. Updating every now and then with where I'm at if it's taking me a bit to get through a book. As an author myself, I know how much reviews from readers help in selling books. So remember, if you read a book I have reviewed here, please leave your review on the site where you purchased and if you can, on Goodreads as well.
Thank you all!
Until I finish the next read!

| The book cover of Devlin Unleashed. |
The story starts with a stalker-like person, Devlin Ward, watching someone he has been following for the last few years. Tracking her down when she left home. When he left her to her father.
Juliana is in her last semester of school. She stops at a coffee shop off at her favorite coffee shop on her way to class. When she is exiting the building, she runs smack into a man nicely dressed, spilling her coffee all over him.
Later that night. she heads to the club they usually go to only to find the same man there looking at her. Staring at her from the VIP section of the club he owns. Basically, from that night, he claims her as his. Just never letting her in on a secret from his past, their past. One she wouldn't remember him being a part of. Not until after graduating. Not until her father sends her old high school boyfriend to bring her back home, him breaking into Devlin's computer and stealing information.
That's when she finds out who he, Devlin, is. And who he was to her years before.
Author Bethany did a wonder job with this story. Giving you just enough, in the beginning, to keep you wanting to read further and find out what will happen next. Only giving away how just a little bit about how the main male knew the main female, but how the main female doesn't know the main male until she runs into him. Just her having a feeling that he is dangerous, just not sure why.
My personal opinion, if I had read the description into more detail than I had before downloading it, it probably wouldn't have made it onto my Kindle. I'm not big on crime stuff, just not my cup of tea. Especially stuff on rapists, and not from something that happened to me personally. Just not something I'm into. Although, I'm not afraid to give a great book a try. I'm glad I hadn't read the description completely through. The heat in this book is undeniable. It heats up and cools down in just the right spots. Makes you want to yell at the characters. Telling them to stay away from the other character. Telling the other not to be so mean and quit listening to the voices in their head.
So in my opinion, this would be a book I would recommend if someone is looking for something different. Something with edge. Something with heat. One thing this book doesn't have is the passion you might find in some Erotic romance books. That was the only thing I didn't get that I was hoping for. Still this book will pull you in, leaving you hungry for more.
This book gets a 5-star rating from me!
Onto my next read!

What I'm reading right now.
So as of right now, I do not have a review for you. I'm here to tell you what it is I am reading at this very moment.
So at this very moment in time, I'm reading an erotic suspense romance. The title is Devlin Unleashed by Bethany Bazile. This book is kindle version that I'm reading. I'm only about 13% through the book, but I'll get there.
Want to check it out before I review it, you can check it out here... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QTTIFJE
If you check it out or already have read it, leave a comment on what you think of the book.
I can say, I'm enjoying it right now. I'm intrigued by the male character, Delvin. Julianna as well, but not as much as Dev. I just want to know who he is and why he seems to know Julianna from the past.
Man, I can't wait to finish reading this book and letting you know what I think about the book in its entirety.

Getting to know me, Jessie Marie!
Hi, y'all! And before you all ask, no, I'm not Southern. I'm from good ole central, PA. I was born and raised in a small town just north of State College, home of the Penn State Nittany Lions! I'm a lover of books and love writing my own.
So let's start from the beginning. As far as I know, I have always loved books. Always reading, even when I had problems with comprehending what I was reading. I loved it when we started reading books to do book reports on the books. My first experience with reviews. Lol!
In my eighth grade year in school is when I started writing. I wrote and finished my first book that year. I started on the next one as well, but then a friend of mine and I started writing a script on what we wished out lives would be like when were older if we married our crushes. Another lol moment.
I don't think we ever finished that. Just like I never finished the second book I had been working that year. The following year I got myself preoccupied with boys. My books were still there sitting in my childhood bedroom waiting for me to return my first love.
I was still reading a lot. I was addicted to The Babysitter Club books. Good thing I had a best friend that had most of them.
In high school, I was into reading Harlequin's. I read those mostly for a class that I was taking. My next experience at reviewing books. I took that class twice.
Now, I'm a mother of two working a part-time job. I work sort of in the health care field. I work the private homes of elderly helping them with their housekeeping and daily tasks. Yes, I do help with bathing, not the best moment for these people, but when they can no longer do on their own, that's what my company is for.
I'm also an indie author. I publish under the same name I use here, Jessie Marie. I have also published under the name, J. R. Tyger. It's a personal reason that I choose to change my pen name. I've even done a book review blog before. I had fun with it, but life kind of got in the way. Now, I'm back and ready to help you find your next favorite book to read.
Now mind you, most of these books will come from Amazon. But I will have a few here and there that I have bought from the bookstores to review. You will know where I got the book from. That will be posted in the review posts.
What kinds of books do I read to review, you ask? Well, I love me a good romance. I will read just about anything in the romance genre. I'm also into reading teen/YA books. I'm a big fan of Twilight, HP and other books in that genre. I can say, I'm willing to try any genre. Although I'm not really a big fan of non-fiction unless I'm researching for something for what I'm writing. No, I will not be reviewing my own books. That would be just wrong to do so.
I hope you enjoy reading the reviews of books I read.
First review coming soon!
